Race stats: Tour de Worcester

This weekend saw the Tour de Worcester, the first league race. The racing was tough due to 50km/h wind and a 1.8km gravel section!! The race was flat but the last 35km was headwind all the way with some cutter sections.
I have 1 race file from the elites and 1 1/2 (Kent punctured) from the Sub vets, with Lucas finishing in the front group. Kent and Lucas are my sub vet riders and I in the Elite category.
| Lucas | Kent | Michael | |
| peak 5sec | 892w | 787w | 1008w |
| 10sec | 725w | 734w | 868w |
| Peak 1min | 484w | 488w | 497w |
| 5min | 337w | 345w | 405w |
| 20min | 271w | 286w | 333w |
| Ave watts | 211w | 251w | 306w |
| Max watts | 973w | 1005w | 1165w |
| NP watts | 254w | 285w | 363w |
| % not pedaling | 10.1 | 11.1 | 14.1 |
| Weight in Kg | 67.5kg | 80kg | 69kg |
| Notes: | IF of .8 | IF .89 | IF of .85. |
Notes: in the vets race Kent did only do 1h 34min due to a mechanical problem. He had almost the same data as Lucas. They were in the same group and area of the group at most of the time. Note that Kent has more weight than Lucas, thus his watts is a little more at areas. Kent has a very fast acceleration and would surely have loved to contest in the bunch sprint. Lucas can really pack a punch when we are talking w/kg! I’m sure the next few races that finish on mountains will suite him better.
Elite race: I decided to make my move on the gravel section of 1.8km long. I managed an average of 414wfor the section; and also managed to cross to the leading group. We worked together in the headwind until the back bunch caught us again just before the sprint.
