Morning guys and gals!
Compliments to the season! Sorry for the delay in my blog posts.
I’ve been to Stilbaai, a little coastal town in the Southern Cape, over the festive season and paid a visit to Pieter Roux, my oldest client at age 67. Pieter have been training with BikeMaxPower for a year now and this was the first time we’ve ever met, but success we did achieve!
Pieter started with a weight of 104-115kg, did not feel good on the bike and didn’t really didn’t enjoy it. I designed a little “eating plan” for Pieter combined with a specialized training plan. Pieter have lost 24kg since he started with us! He also achieved great success and improved his times for the Knysna Oyster festival, Karoo to coast, Die Burger and Seweweekspoort MTB and his next goals are the Attekwas MTB (145km) over the weekend and the PnP Cape Argus early March where he would like to be on the podium for his age category.
Pieter is a Cycle Lab supercycling rider and is pleased with the professionalism of his club and BikeMaxPower.
We wish Peter and all our clients all the best for Saturday’s and Sunday’s Attekwas MTB and Cycle Lab Cape Cobra Challenge (road).

99er race tip:
Ok, exactly 4 weeks to go before D day! Now is the time to test all the new nutritional products you want to use. This should not be done on race day and can cause stomach discomfort. Get a bicycle fitment done soonest so you can get used to the new position.
Visit www.99er.co.za for more information of race day and online entries!
