Hi everyone!!
Well it was the standard Thursday morning ritual with the alarm going off at 4am!!
A quick coffee and the last bottle shift of the night for my little daughter,so cute, who even thanks me in her sleep.
I head off into the darkness with all the frsh smells and suddenly a sms!!!
Are we riding.. the wind is hectic??We train in any weather is my response!!
It was our standard L4 session and for those who are not familar with the term L4..put simply it means blood and guts.
Its the module of training that one hates however has the biggest rewards.
Its ultimate goal is to prepare the mind and body for full contact racing,in other words race simulation.
The biggest question is.. when in the training block ..and how much in the training block should one do.
The answer is short and sweet...GET A COACH!!!!!
Your coach will guide you carefully, and prescibe goal specific workouts, so that you are good on the day!!Yes take the guess work out of training.
With a few simple training tools like a power tap and your coach.. you to can perform when you need to perform and train when you need to train.
