Last night was Killarney again! I love that evening racing and have been going there since i was 12!Last night was very hard, i attacked from the gun and kept on attacking the whole night! anyway, I eventually came 2nd in the race. I left my PowerTap at home so I will have to share my data with you all later in the week. Hopefully the weather get better so we can get some miles in. ...

This weekend a mate and I decided to head off to the criterium in Burgandy Estate hosted by Bellville cycling club. Just after we left, the heavens came down on us and we took shelter in a shopping mall for 2 hours! The criterium was eventually cancelled.   On the Sunday we head of to the Boland for a very long ride.. 190km on the clock when I got home later that day. Luckily I don’t have a wife like my mate; but I must admit, she must be the best wife in the world, we got home ...

with a potato gun... made by himself... I have to tell this story.My client (no names mentioned) took the family away for the weekend and decided to entertain the kids by building his own potato gun which can shoot up to 300m far! well, he got the shooting part correct; the back side of the potato gun blew off and hit him on the calf muscle and now he is off the bike for a week. Another client can't ride his bike for the rest of the week because Cervelo has recalled all the WOLF forks t ...

After sorting out my PowerTap wheel with new batteries, i'm ready to go race at the Killarney race track tonight. I have already done 4 hours in the saddle this morning! Hopefully my power will be right up there.The conditions seems to be fine with little wind, hopefully it stay that way! Will keep you all updated on the race/training and my numbers..  ...
