So there it is, I have said it - I am going to do the IM in 2011...For those of you that don't know, I completed Lanzarote IM in 1993...a huge achievement for me with one of my best friends - who despite fighting me all the way, crossed the line with me after 13h+Having enjoyed being back in the water of late, I decided that a new challenge was on the cards - and IM just hoved into view..I am unsure on many levels - will my back hold up to the strain being the biggest fear, will I compromise ...

Just a short update - I haven't forgotten about you all, but have been doing some cross training and enjoying some time off the bike.My cycling has been very structured for 7or 8 years now and a combination of events saw me feel the need for a complete break - I just needed to do something else that would allow me to rediscover my love for the bike.Given my weak core, weak back (Post slipped disc 2 years back) and a love of swimming from my triathlon days (A brief 17 years ago..) and combine ...
